Ayse is admitted to the New York and Istanbul Bar Associations. She earned her LL.B. from Istanbul University Faculty of Law and, after completing her legal internship in Istanbul, pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business Law at Boston University School of Law. Following her studies, Ayse gained practical experience in Boston as a law clerk and research assistant before returning to Istanbul. She has advised companies on compliance with U.S. sanctions and export control laws administered by the Department of Commerce, the Department of the Treasury, and the Department of Justice. She has also worked alongside international law firms in advising major Turkish companies engaged in cross-border business, evaluating sanctions risks, and developing procedures aligned with U.S., UK, and EU regulatory frameworks.

At Igniters Tech, Ayse focuses on startup and technology law, venture capital transactions, and cross-border corporate matters. She is particularly interested in helping early-stage companies navigate legal and regulatory challenges while building scalable businesses. Her combined background in international compliance and commercial law allows her to bring a risk-conscious yet business-oriented perspective to technology-driven ventures.

Ayse is as disciplined about her legal practice as she is about her workouts—she counts her daily protein intake and her retirement plan is to open a shop in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar.
